I started my career in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where I earned my Business degree from Covenant College. After graduation, I joined SunTrust Bank and spent the next 24 years working across several departments, from mortgage loan processing to construction management to mortgage sales. My time as a Mortgage Loan Officer was especially rewarding - I was honored to be named Rookie of the Year and consistently recognized as a top producer. I learned how to listen closely, solve problems, and help people reach their goals, whether they were first-time buyers or experienced investors.

My husband, Mark, introduced me to Sanibel in the early ’90s when the causeway still had a drawbridge. Even then, I felt the island's magic. We purchased our first home here in 2012 and officially made the full-time move in 2016, the same year I joined Pfeifer Realty Group. Today, we live in Shell Harbor and spend our free time biking, boating, shelling, and walking to the beach with our dog, Coco. There’s nothing better than a Sanibel sunrise or sunset.

Real estate isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I truly love. Helping people find the right home or investment is incredibly fulfilling, especially when it’s here in a place I’m so passionate about. Many of my clients become close friends and neighbors, and I consider that one of the best parts of what I do.

I’m also deeply involved in the Sanibel and Captiva community. I currently serve on the board of the Sanibel Captiva Association of Realtors and participate in several committees focused on giving back. From organizing fundraising events for local nonprofits to beach cleanups and water quality awareness, I believe in contributing to the community that gives us so much. In 2020, I was honored to receive the Community Service Award from the Association.
