Hi there, I’m Kelly Huguenin, a Realtor with Pfeifer Realty Group.

I’m originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, where I attended Covenant College and earned my Bachelor's degree in Business. After graduating in 1992, I started my career at SunTrust in the mortgage department, which turned into a rewarding 24-year journey in Real Estate. I began as a receptionist but quickly transitioned into a Mortgage Loan Processing position, where I received numerous awards for customer service. After five years in processing, I was ready for a new challenge. I moved into the construction department as a Construction Manager, collaborating with builders on both spec and custom homes. Managing that department for a few years prepared me for my next move into Sales as a Mortgage Loan Officer, which turned out to be my true calling.

Helping people achieve their dreams of homeownership is something I love. In my first year as a Mortgage Loan Officer, I was named Rookie of the Year by the Mortgage Bankers Association and SunTrust. Year after year, I was recognized as a Top Producer in Chattanooga by the Mortgage Bankers Association and became a member of SunTrust's President's Club for highest producers.

My husband, Mark, introduced me to Sanibel Island in the early ’90s when the causeway still had a drawbridge. While much has changed since then, Sanibel remains the perfect slice of paradise. We feel incredibly fortunate to live and work here. In 2012, we purchased our first home on the island and split our time here until moving full-time in 2016. That’s when I began selling real estate with Pfeifer Realty Group. Since then, we’ve sold our first island home and purchased another in Shell Harbor, where we enjoy island life to the fullest. We love biking, boating, shelling, and walking to the beach with our furry child, Coco, for the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.

Real estate is my passion, and I truly enjoy being part of the Pfeifer Team. It’s hard work, but incredibly fulfilling to help people find the perfect place to call home or vacation.

I’m currently a board member for the Sanibel Captiva Association of Realtors and actively participate in several committees that support our community. One of the committees I serve on helps sponsor events to raise donations for local non-profits. We also organize initiatives like beach cleanups and water quality awareness efforts. In 2020, I was honored to receive the “Community Service Award” from the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors for my involvement.

Sanibel is my “happy place.” It offers all the beauty and amenities of a resort destination while maintaining the charm of a small-town community. With over 60% of the island dedicated to conservation land, Sanibel boasts abundant nature and wildlife, more than 25 miles of bike paths, stunning beaches, fantastic restaurants, and unique shops. I’m passionate about this community and everything it has to offer.

With over 30 years of experience, I’m grateful for a career that allows me to connect with so many wonderful people. Many of my clients have become personal friends and neighbors.
